Sigma Aldrich, Dextra, Virginia Heyward are all major employers offering opportunity and work locally. Household names like Neals Yard, Waitrose, Iceland, Screwfix, Lidl, Pets at Home and Costa Coffee have all been welcomed into the town to rub shoulders with smaller independents such as Cullingford, Prime Cuts, Sydenhams and Fitness by Design who all keep the growing population in employment.
