Town Meadow Group (TMG)

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Gillingham Town Meadow, found at the bottom of Gillingham High Street links the main town to the Library/Museum and Waitrose. It includes a hard surface area for vehicles, market stalls, the fair and a whole host of other activities. A pathway along the river and an open grassy space, with benches for more leisurely enjoyment. Our purpose is to provide an area in the centre of Gillingham for community use. It should bring trade and activities to the town and also be attractive, with plants, shrubs, trees and wild flowers. The meadow plan will unfold over the next five years, first addressing basic community and commercial aspects. Planting, including new trees will gradually mature and soften the area over time. [/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” position=”center” up=”2″ down=”0″][blockquote text=”Our purpose is to provide an area in the centre of Gillingham for community use.
